Noble Society

Coming from Brooklyn, Noble Society its sound can’t be classified. Noble Society is between hip hop and dancehall with dubstep beats and flamenco melodies. This wealth comes from the multiple influences of each member of the band: Jahdan Blakkamoore, Delie and Diego “Fuego” Campo. Acclaimed as “Kings of Urban Reggae” by the American press, you will remember Noble Society with their new album called “PPM”. It has been mixed by Guy Buss in London (Lowkey, Sway, Call P, Diabolic, General Levy…). In the end, “PPM” is made with powerful tracks as “For Life” and “Live Large” where Jah Dan shows his ragga flow mixes with the crushing hiphop of Delie. This is a great combination where you can find sometimes Hispanic influences of Fuego like on “Lonely Stranger”. The electronic keyboards are mixed with dubstep beats and conscious lyrics true to hiphop values in “How we gonna get there” and “No competition”. We can also find sweet and emotional melodies such as “Girl I’m gone”.

Mastering has been done in Masterdisk studio in New York City. The sound engineer was the famous Tony Dawsey to whom we owe three of the best albums of Jay‐Z (“the Black Album”, “the Blueprint”, “the Blueprint 3”), he worked with Redman, Akon, Burning Spear but also with Moby for his emblematic album “Play”. An inspired band and a carefully produced music, signed by Ovaground, this fourth studio album of Noble Society will be a real success in the reggae hip hop world.
